The Heart Behind Le Haus of Dog

 

Le Haus of Dog wasn't born in a corporate boardroom—it was forged out of an unbreakable bond between a rescue dog and a human who refused to give up on her.

Meet Cora (affectionately known as Coco-bean, McFluff, and booboo). When we first met, she was a traumatized rescue who couldn’t even be approached inside a house without severe panic. Through patience, quiet consistency, and a mutual rescue mission, she became my constant shadow and my absolute best friend.

Because Cora suffers from severe, clinical separation anxiety, leaving her alone even for a few minutes isn't an option; as the resulting panic/how relieved she is to see me. That reality changed everything. It inspired Ministry of Dogs—my local dog-walking and house-sitting service in the Bath and Bristol area, where Cora gets to come along, meet other dogs, and be right by my side where she belongs.

 

Why We Built This Store

Le Haus of Dog and our underground music project (CD/Vinyl by https://elasticstage.com/opvs01) serve a simple purpose: to supplement our income and keep our lives stable so that Cora never has to experience fear or instability again.

Cora's Woodland is not a destination you can visit today.
The dream is we sell 10,000 items from the archive and build a small countryside retreat for cora, the ex street dog from Romania.
A place to cure her anxiety.

And maybe even foster others whilst they get use to their new situation and wait for a forever home, we'd have cameras to live stream their progress, but we are getting ahead of ourselves!
This is the beginning of that story.
